Harvest 2016 has arrived! We processed our first round of Blanc du Bois on July 9. More Blanc du Bois on July 16. Tempranillo on July 23, Black Spanish/Lenoir on July 30 and finally Aglianico, Montepulciano and Shiraz on August 6. Busy season for us and we are far from done.  Next up is fruit from the Texas High Plains. Viognier was first as it ripened quickly in the summer heat. Viognier is a Rhone variety that is well adapted to the Texas climate. Great melon, stone fruit and mineral qualities.

The Winery

Houston Winery is setup for small volume hand-crafted winemaking. We take great care in putting the grapes through the highest quality processes to produce world class wines.

We have eight local artists displaying their works around the tasting room.
